Position: Senior Architect
Location: Bogotá, Colombia
Employment Type: Full-Time – On-Site

Position Overview:
Pond is seeking a Senior Architect with experience developing architectural projects in accordance with United States codes, regulations, and standards. The idóneo candidate will have a proven track record preparing architectural designs, drawings, and bid packages while following project design guidelines and templates. This role also involves selecting materials and developing construction details that clearly communicate design intent and construction methods.
The Senior Architect will provide guidance and support for the professional development of junior- and mid-level Architects and assist with proposal preparation. Strong knowledge of residential, hospitality, and industrial projects is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare architectural designs, drawings, and bid packages in accordance with project design guidelines and templates.
- Select materials and develop construction details that clearly communicate design intent and construction methods.
- Develop design projects across multiple markets and geographic locations, expanding technical knowledge and skills.
- Participate actively in all phases of design, from conceptual development through construction documentation.
- Assist with the preparation of proposals and bids.
- Mentor and support the professional development of junior- and mid-level Architects.
- Follow the company’s design and drafting standards to ensure consistency and quality across all deliverables.
- Contribute to a collaborative work environment while meeting project deadlines and quality expectations.
- Interact with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams to achieve project objectives.

Education and Experience:

- Professional degree in Architecture.
- Professional architectural license or registration.




- More than 10 years of relevant experience working on architectural projects subject to United States codes, regulations, and standards.
- Experience preparing architectural designs, drawings, and bid packages in accordance with design guidelines and templates, as well as selecting materials while ensuring compliance with applicable codes and best practices.
- Strong knowledge of residential, hospitality, and industrial projects.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software, including Revit and AutoCAD.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is required to collaborate with international teams and clients.
