Our client is a specialized post-installation solar operations and maintenance company. They are hiring a Commercial Solar Project Coordinator to support their commercial solar and energy asset portfolio. This is an operational, client-facing service coordination role — not a design or engineering-focused position. The adecuado candidate keeps commercial solar assets running smoothly by monitoring performance, coordinating with stakeholders, and making sound calls on when an issue needs a technician on-site versus a remote fix.

Schedule:

- Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM - 6:45 PM EST (Freehold, NJ Time), with 45 minutes unpaid break (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities:

- Monitor commercial solar assets across multiple platforms, using data, alerts, and equipment history to identify and troubleshoot performance issues remotely
- Decide when an issue can be resolved through a remote reset, recommissioning step, communications fix, or manufacturer support — versus when it requires a field dispatch
- Coordinate service and maintenance work across active projects, managing multiple priorities and timelines simultaneously
- Serve as a primary point of contact for commercial asset owners, property management groups, and other business stakeholders, communicating technical issues, urgency, and next steps in clear, non-technical language
- Order solar and electrical materials as needed, and manage manufacturer warranty and RMA processes end-to-end — including documentation, replacement tracking, returns, and follow-up scheduling
- Log and track all work through CRM or a comparable structured work-management platform




- Liaise with vendors, technicians, and internal teams to ensure timely issue resolution and minimize unnecessary truck rolls

Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in an operations, service, asset-management, or performance-monitoring role across multiple solar or energy monitoring portals
- Working experience with platforms such as SolarEdge, Enphase, Fronius, and SMA, plus fleet aggregators or energy platforms such as EnSights, AlsoEnergy, or Stem
- Direct experience supporting commercial (not residential-only) solar assets and communicating with commercial stakeholders
- Experience coordinating large-scale projects at a project-management or project-coordination level
- Experience with a CRM or structured work-management platform; Zoho experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated judgment distinguishing remote-fixable issues from those requiring field dispatch
- Hands-on experience with material ordering and manufacturer warranty/RMA case management
- Strong attention to detail, reliable follow-through, and the ability to manage multiple active priorities
