We are looking for a Coffee Specialist Agronomist to work on a permanent basis within a specialty coffee operation in Nigeria.

The professional will be responsible for supporting and supervising activities related to agronomy, farm management, coffee production, postharvest processing, and quality control, contributing knowledge and best practices from the Colombian coffee industry.

Education

Degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, Agricultural Sciences, or related fields, with training or certifications in coffee quality.

Required Experience

Proven experience in

Agronomic management and supervision of coffee farms.
Establishment and development of new coffee farms.
Working with coffee producers and field teams.
Wet Mill and Dry Mill coffee processing.
Supervision of coffee receiving, weighing, and drying processes.
Coffee quality control and traceability.
Identification and management of postharvest quality issues, especially phenolic defects, overdrying, and other qualityrelated defects.
Requirements
Experience in specialty coffee.
Certification or training in coffee postharvest processing and quality control.
Knowledge of coffee cupping and physical and sensory evaluation.
Experience with international coffee processing protocols and quality standards.
Main Responsibilities
Supervise agronomic activities and coffee farm management.




Coordinate and support field and processing teams.
Supervise coffee receiving, weighing, drying, and other postharvest processes.
Implement and strengthen quality control and traceability protocols.
Work with coffee producers and support the development of new farms.
Train and transfer technical knowledge to the local team.
