Job DescriptionThe Backend Developer will support the modernization of enterprise applications from .NET 6 to .NET 10 by developing, enhancing, and maintaining backend services, APIs, integrations, and data access components. Working within an Agile delivery squad, this role will collaborate closely with the Tech Lead, Full Stack Developer, QA Engineer, and SDET resources to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions that support Tivity's modernization objectives. The Backend Developer will contribute to application upgrades, technical implementation, troubleshooting, testing support, and production deployments throughout the project lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and enhance backend services, APIs, and business logic supporting enterprise applications.Support modernization of applications from .NET 6 to .NET 10 while minimizing risk to existing functionality.Design and implement scalable solutions using C#, .NET, Entity Framework, and related backend technologies.Collaborate with full stack developers to support React and TypeScript application functionality.Participate in code reviews and contribute to development standards, best practices, and overall code quality.Support CI/CD initiatives, deployment activities, and release readiness efforts.Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, and sprint reviews.Create and maintain technical documentation including application designs, integration specifications, deployment procedures, and knowledge transfer materials.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
