U.S.-based trucking company looking for a reliable and detail-oriented remote contractor in Colombia to support our accounting, safety, compliance, maintenance coordination, tracking, and daily office operations.

Previous experience working in the U.S. trucking industry is required.

We are specifically looking for someone who already understands trucking terminology, driver communication, load paperwork, basic safety/compliance processes, and the day-to-day environment of a U.S. trucking company.

Applicants without previous trucking, transportation, dispatch, carrier, freight, or logistics experience may not be considered.

Main Responsibilities

Safety / Logbook Support

- Review driver ELD/logbooks daily
- Identify logbook errors, missing entries, and potential Hours of Service issues
- Communicate directly with drivers to correct logbook errors
- Follow up until corrections are completed
- Track recurring compliance issues and report them to management
- Maintain organized driver and safety documentation
- Assist with general safety and compliance tasks
- Learn and assist with driver orientation procedures
- Conduct or help conduct driver orientations when required
- Make sure required orientation documents and acknowledgments are completed correctly

Accounting / Invoicing
- Prepare and submit trucking invoices
- Review rate confirmations, BOLs, PODs, lumper receipts, detention paperwork, and other load documents
- Verify that all required paperwork is complete before invoicing
- Contact drivers for missing paperwork or receipts
- Organize invoices and supporting documents
- Assist with basic accounting data entry and reconciliation
- Track incomplete or outstanding invoicing items

Maintenance Support
- Assist with basic maintenance coordination
- Help locate repair shops, tire shops, dealerships, mobile mechanics, and other service providers
- Contact shops for availability, pricing, and repair information
- Help coordinate repairs between drivers, shops, and management




- Track repair status and follow up until work is completed
- Maintain organized maintenance records and supporting documents
- Escalate major repair or cost issues to management

Office Administration
- Maintain organized electronic files
- Upload, download, rename, and organize PDFs, photos, spreadsheets, and documents
- Assist accounting, safety, maintenance, and operations departments with administrative tasks
- Communicate with drivers and staff by phone, email, and messaging systems
- Follow up on assigned issues until they are fully resolved

Required Experience

- Previous experience working with a U.S. trucking company, carrier, freight brokerage, dispatch office, or logistics company
- Understanding of common U.S. trucking terminology and operations
- Experience communicating directly with truck drivers
- Familiarity with trucking paperwork such as:
- Rate confirmations
- BOLs
- PODs
- Lumper receipts
- Detention paperwork
- Experience with trucking invoicing, driver files, tracking, safety, dispatch support, or related operations
- Familiarity with ELD/logbooks and Hours of Service is strongly preferred
- Motive / KeepTruckin experience is a major advantage

Required Skills

- Strong spoken and written English
- Comfortable speaking directly with U.S. truck drivers
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong follow-up and organizational skills
- Able to handle multiple tasks and priorities at once
- Comfortable with Excel, Google Sheets, email, PDFs, and multiple online systems
- Able to research and solve basic operational problems independently

- Reliable, professional, and able to complete tasks on time

Remote Work Requirements

- Reliable Windows PC
- 2 or 3 monitor setup strongly preferred
- Reliable high-speed internet
- Backup internet connection or mobile hotspot (in case your internet goes down)
- Webcam
- Quiet, dedicated home-office workspace
- Reliable electricity
- Smartphone available for authentication and work communication

Schedule

- 9am-5pm Monday through Friday
- Approximately 40 hours per week
- Must be available during U.S. Eastern Time business hours

Compensation

- $250–$300 USD per week depending on experience
- Paid biweekly (recommended opening up Wise account for international payments
- Higher compensation may be considered for candidates with strong U.S. trucking, ELD, safety, accounting, or operations experience

What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who already understands the trucking environment and can become a dependable part of our back-office operation.

This person should be able to identify problems, communicate with drivers, follow up aggressively, keep files organized, assist with orientations, help coordinate maintenance, track loads, and make sure accounting and safety tasks are completed correctly and on time.

Previous U.S. trucking experience is required.
