About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to join our global team and lead the design and implementation of modern cloud-based data platforms. In this role, you will define enterprise data architecture standards, design scalable and secure data solutions, and drive data strategy initiatives that enable advanced analytics, reporting, and business intelligence capabilities. The adecuado candidate brings deep expertise in Snowflake, Azure, and modern data architecture practices.

Responsibilities

- Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise data architectures.
- Lead the architecture, modeling, and optimization of data platforms built on Snowflake.
- Define and enforce data architecture standards, governance practices, and best practices.
- Design and oversee ETL/ELT frameworks and data integration solutions across diverse source systems.
- Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support business and analytics requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders to align data solutions with organizational objectives.
- Evaluate and recommend data platform technologies, architecture patterns, and integration strategies.
- Optimize data performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency across cloud environments.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineers and development teams.
- Support solution deployment and architecture initiatives within Microsoft Azure environments.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Data Architect, Enterprise Data Architect, or similar architecture-focused role.




- Strong expertise in designing and implementing enterprise-scale data architectures using Snowflake.
- Deep understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data lakehouse concepts.
- Advanced SQL skills with experience optimizing large-scale data workloads.
- Strong experience with ETL/ELT frameworks, data integration, and data pipeline architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure data services and cloud-native architecture patterns.
- Proficiency in Python and/or Shell scripting for automation and data engineering tasks.
- Knowledge of data governance, security, metadata management, and data quality frameworks.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent English and experience working effectively in global, cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Matillion or similar cloud-based ETL/ELT tools.
- Experience designing data solutions in enterprise-scale environments.
- Knowledge of Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or other modern data platform technologies.
- Experience with data governance frameworks, master data management (MDM), or data catalog solutions.
- Snowflake and/or Azure certifications.
