The platform operates within a leading media and entertainment ecosystem focused on innovation, technology, and connected experiences.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to build and scale the analytics and reporting platform powering business intelligence across nearly 300 theater locations.

- Write complex SQL queries and ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy.
- Build cloud-native data solutions using AWS services including S3, Athena, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, RDS, IAM, and CloudWatch.
- Design scalable data models and schemas for self-service reporting.
- Contribute to architecture and technical decisions across the data and analytics platform.
- Improve CI/CD,
deployment automation, monitoring, reliability, and scalability of data pipelines.
- Support reporting and analytics features in React/Ruby on Rails applications as needed.
- Conduct code/design reviews, mentor engineers, and promote data engineering best practices.
- Partner with Product, Analytics, and business stakeholders to translate reporting needs into technical solutions.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of software/data engineering experience, with significant experience in data pipelines and BI/reporting.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS QuickSight or comparable BI tools such as Tableau or Looker, including dashboards, calculated fields, parameters, and embedded analytics.
- Strong SQL and relational database skills, including complex queries and performance tuning.
- Experience with AWS data services such as Redshift, Athena, Glue, S3, and Lambda .
- Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, ETL/ELT, and data governance.
- Experience designing scalable data systems and modern data architectures.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, and Agile development.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work directly with business and analytics stakeholders.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with Ruby on Rails, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and REST APIs.
- Experience with Snowflake or other data warehousing platforms.
