The Pricing Analyst supports the business development pricing function by consolidating client and logistics data into deal-ready pricing inputs, researching client and market context to inform pricing decisions, and building pricing sheets under the Pricing Lead's guidance. This role sits at the intersection of sourcing and pricing — translating incoming manufacturer quotations and client specifications into structured, accurate pricing data. Given the fast pace and frequent shifts in pricing variables (freight, warehousing, distribution costs), the Analyst must be comfortable working with incomplete information and escalating gaps quickly rather than guessing.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Consolidate client data (locations, SKUs, distribution requirements) into sheets that feed the pricing model
- Build and update deal pricing sheets for assigned deals using the established pricing model
- Research and factor in distribution and logistics costs between client and manufacturer locations — flagged as the most time-consuming part of the pricing process
- Conduct client and market research to support deal analysis (client background, specs context, pricing benchmarks)
- Identify and flag incomplete or ambiguous client specifications before they block pricing; escalate to the Pricing Lead rather than assume
- Coordinate with Sourcing on manufacturer quotation turnaround and follow up on outstanding quotes needed for pricing
- Maintain an active-deal tracker noting status, blockers, and estimated completion
- Apply pricing model updates promptly, given how frequently cost factors can shift (e.g., warehouse changes)
- Support outreach efforts — pricing may need to approach clients directly for missing data, not only receive inbound requests
- Escalate deal-level pricing changes (e.g., mid-deal freight or warehouse shifts) to the Pricing Lead promptly
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1–2 years in pricing, financial analysis, logistics, or a data-heavy research/analysis role — training will be provided given the model's complexity
- Bilingual (Eng/Spa)
- Strong proficiency in spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets), particularly data consolidation from multiple sources
- Comfortable conducting research (client background, market context) as part of the analysis process
- Ability to work with incomplete or ambiguous data — flags gaps rather than guessing
- High attention to detail; pricing errors have direct commercial impact
- Able to manage multiple active deals simultaneously without losing accuracy
- Coachable and responsive to fast-paced, frequently-updated processes — this role requires close guidance early on
WHAT WE OFFER
- 100% Remote: Work from anywhere

- Compensation: $1,500 USD
- Paid Time Off (PTO)
