NOC Engineer – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a NOC Engineer to join our technical operations team and provide monitoring, troubleshooting, and technical support for client IT infrastructures.

This is a hands-on technical support role focused on diagnosing and resolving infrastructure issues , rather than system design. The adecuado candidate has strong troubleshooting skills, understands how different IT systems and technologies interact, and can communicate effectively with both clients and internal technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
- Monitor, diagnose, and resolve issues affecting servers, PCs, laptops, mobile devices, cloud solutions, and network infrastructure.
- Respond to system-generated alerts and client requests, providing diagnosis and resolution.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and identify root causes.
- Support Microsoft 365, antivirus/anti-spam solutions, email archiving, managed backups, and related technologies.
- Provide Tier 1 engineers with technical support and guidance when required.
- Work with networking, server, virtualization, and backup environments.
- Escalate issues appropriately when additional subject-matter expertise is required.
- Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
- Document systems and technical environments when required.




- Maintain accurate time tracking and ticket information to meet SLAs and operational metrics.
- Identify recurring issues and contribute to permanent solutions and process improvements.
- Collaborate with the technical team to improve support processes and documentation.

Requirements

Required:

- At least 2 years of IT technical support / infrastructure experience .
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 / Microsoft Online Services .
- Experience troubleshooting servers and network infrastructure .
- Experience with SonicWall .
- Experience with physical and/or virtual servers .
- Experience with virtualization solutions .
- Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions .
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer-service-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a technical team.

Nice to have:

- Cisco experience.
- VMware experience.
- CompTIA A+.
- CompTIA Network+.
- MCSA / MCSE certifications.
- Experience with managed services / MSP environments.
- Experience working with SLAs and ticketing systems.
