About the Role

We are looking for a Frontend Developer to support the development of a web portal and help transform UX designs and business requirements into responsive, accessible, and maintainable user interfaces.

Working closely with Senior Developers, UX/UI Designers, QA, and Backend Developers, you will build UI features following established front-end standards, design patterns, and development practices.

This is an excellent opportunity for a developer who is looking to strengthen their React and TypeScript skills while gaining hands-on experience with modern front-end architecture, API integration, testing, performance, accessibility, and cloud-based application environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the development of front-end features for the portal, aligned with UX/UI designs and established design standards.
- Understand user stories, business requirements, and technical specifications and translate them into functional UI features.
- Build UI components and features under the guidance of Senior Frontend Developers.
- Follow established front-end standards, coding practices, and design patterns.
- Write clean, readable, maintainable, and reusable code.
- Collaborate with UX/UI Designers, QA Engineers, Backend Developers, and other team members.
- Participate in team ceremonies, including standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Support bug fixing, testing, troubleshooting, and production issue resolution.
- Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback from senior developers and peers.
- Apply responsive design and accessibility practices to front-end features.
- Document development work clearly through tickets, technical notes, and relevant documentation.
- Manage assigned tasks effectively and deliver work within established sprint timelines.
- Continuously learn and apply modern front-end development practices and technologies.

- Fundamentals of REST APIs, JSON, and asynchronous API calls.
- Basic awareness of authentication flows.
- Experience using Git for version control.
- Familiarity with package managers such as npm or Yarn.
- Basic debugging skills using browser Developer Tools.
- Understanding of responsive web design fundamentals.
- Awareness of cross-browser testing and compatibility.
- Basic knowledge of unit testing using Jest, React Testing Library, or similar tools.
- Basic understanding of web performance concepts.
- Familiarity with build tools such as Vite or Webpack.
- Understanding of basic secure coding practices for front-end development.
- Exposure to CI/CD concepts and development workflows.
- Basic knowledge of microfrontend architecture and Module Federation concepts.
- Awareness of AWS-hosted application environments and service integration.
