Position OverviewEDI Integration DeveloperThis is a highly technical role, and we require hands-on technical experience rather than managerial experience.

As an EDI Integration Developer at Innovate AI Solutions, you will play a crucial role in expanding and maintaining our B2B communication channels by managing all aspects of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI). Your work will directly support our AI-driven logistics solutions, ensuring seamless, reliable, and robust data exchange with our partners and clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Map and translate EDI documents.
- Design, implement, and optimize EDI workflows.
- Monitor and troubleshoot EDI transactions and integrations.
- Maintain and enhance our proprietary EDI solution.
- Communicate and collaborate with EDI integration partners.
- Collaborate: Work closely with developers, designers, the QA team, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality features.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot: Identify bottlenecks and bugs and develop effective solutions to resolve them.

Key Requirements

- Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in a development or integration role.
- Database: Proficiency in PostgreSQL.
- API Development: Experience with RESTful APIs and web services, with a focus on building and maintaining high-performance, secure, and scalable APIs.
- Testing: Experience writing both unit tests and feature tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Version Control: Experience with Git or other version control systems.
- Problem Solving:



Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Team Player: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Nice to Have

- Experience with EDI document encoding and decoding.
- Experience with EDI communication protocols such as AS2, FTP, and SFTP.
- Experience with open-source EDI interchange servers (e.g., Mendelson AS2).
- Experience with proprietary EDI interchange servers.
- Experience with the Go programming language.
- Experience with tracking systems.
- Familiarity with modern monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus and Grafana) for effective system diagnosis.
- Experience with microservices and Pub/Sub systems (such as Redis or Kafka) for building decoupled, scalable applications.
