Are you an experienced Logistics Dispatcher with a strong background in freight operations? We're looking for a highly organized and proactive professional to coordinate shipments, optimize routes, and ensure smooth communication between drivers, carriers, and customers.

- Plan and optimize delivery and pickup routes for maximum efficiency
- Search for and book freight using load boards such as DAT , Truckstop , and similar platforms
- Match available loads with qualified carriers and drivers
- Assign drivers based on availability, location, and load capacity
- Adjust schedules in real time to accommodate delays, cancellations, or urgent changes
- Manage calendars and coordinate dispatch schedules
- Prioritize and manage emails while ensuring timely responses
- Serve as the primary point of contact between drivers, customers, and internal teams
- Confirm pickup appointments and delivery windows with customers
- Prepare and provide freight quotations
- Update shipment statuses and delivery progress in logistics software
- Deliver excellent customer service by providing timely updates and resolving issues
- Perform general administrative and dispatch support tasks as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Dispatcher in the freight/logistics industry
- Strong knowledge of transportation operations and dispatch workflows
- Hands-on experience using load boards such as DAT , Truckstop , or similar platforms
- Excellent route planning and scheduling skills
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to multitask and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and logistics software
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work independently
