Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Contador role based in Guarne at KP Empaques Flexibles. The Contador will be responsible for managing general accounting activities, including recording daily transactions, preparing journal entries, and reconciling accounts. The role includes preparing financial statements, monitoring cash flow, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.

The Contador will review tax obligations, ensure compliance with local accounting and fiscal regulations, and coordinate with external auditors when needed. Day-to-day responsibilities also involve collaborating with operations and administration teams, generating analytical reports for management, and recommending improvements to financial controls and processes.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of general accounting principles, financial reporting, and account reconciliation.
- Experience with tax calculation, compliance with local fiscal regulations, and preparation of required tax documentation.




- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, including use of spreadsheets, formulas, and basic data analysis.
- Ability to prepare and interpret budgets, manage cash flow, and support financial planning and analysis.
- Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and ability to detect and resolve discrepancies.
- Effective communication skills to present financial information clearly and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work on-site in Guarne, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification in accounting is an advantage.
- Prior experience in corporate or industrial accounting; experience in packaging or manufacturing sectors is a plus.
