About the Role

MPIV Partners is looking for a Cloud Security Consultant to assess cloud environments, identify security risks, and help clients implement practical, scalable improvements.

In this role, you will work with engineering, security, and DevOps teams to design secure cloud architectures, configure and optimize cloud security platforms, review Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code deployments, and integrate security into development and operational workflows.

The idóneo candidate combines hands-on cloud security experience with strong consulting and communication skills. You should be comfortable investigating technical issues, explaining risk clearly, and translating security requirements into actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

- Assess cloud security posture across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
- Identify misconfigurations, vulnerabilities, excessive permissions, exposure paths, and other cloud risks.
- Implement and optimize CNAPP, CSPM, and related cloud security solutions.
- Review cloud architectures, Kubernetes environments, Terraform configurations, and CI/CD workflows.
- Recommend practical remediation strategies that account for technical and business constraints.
- Support the adoption of DevSecOps practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Conduct security reviews and participate in threat-modeling activities.
- Collaborate with client security, engineering, infrastructure, and DevOps teams.
- Create clear technical documentation, standards, implementation guides, and operational runbooks.
- Monitor emerging cloud threats and contribute to the continuous improvement of MPIV Partners’ methodologies.

Required Qualifications





- Hands-on experience securing at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Practical knowledge of cloud security concepts, including identity and access management, network security, data protection, logging, monitoring, and incident response.
- Experience with one or more cloud security platforms, such as CNAPP, CSPM, CWPP, CIEM, or vulnerability-management solutions.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Terraform, infrastructure as code, or CI/CD security.
- Understanding of application security and DevSecOps practices, including SAST, DAST, software supply-chain security, and secure development principles.
- Ability to assess complex environments and translate technical findings into clear, prioritized recommendations.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Palo Alto Networks Prisma Cloud or Cortex Cloud.
- Experience working directly with clients in a consulting or professional-services environment.
- Experience across more than one public cloud platform.
- Knowledge of cloud architecture frameworks, compliance standards, or security benchmarks.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CCSK, AWS Security – Specialty, Azure Security Engineer, Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer, or equivalent credentials.

Experience producing security standards, implementation documentation, and operational runbooks.
