We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable & Reconciliation Specialist to join our team. The adecuado candidate will have experience in accounts receivable, portfolio reconciliation, payment application, and financial record management.

This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and advanced Excel proficiency. The successful candidate will be responsible for reconciling customer accounts, identifying discrepancies, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the timely collection and application of payments.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform accounts receivable and portfolio reconciliations to ensure customer balances are accurate and up to date.
- Reconcile customer payments, invoices, credits, and outstanding balances.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies between accounting records and customer accounts.
- Review aging reports and monitor outstanding balances.
- Apply payments accurately to customer accounts and maintain proper documentation.
- Follow up on account discrepancies, missing payments, credits, and other reconciliation issues.
- Maintain accurate and organized accounts receivable records.
- Prepare reconciliation reports and financial information using Excel.




- Analyze account balances and transaction details to identify inconsistencies or unusual activity.
- Support month-end and period-end reconciliation activities.
- Communicate with internal teams and customers regarding account balances and payment discrepancies.
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure financial information is accurate and up to date.
- Assist with process improvements related to reconciliation, collections, and accounts receivable operations.

Requirements

- 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Portfolio Reconciliation, Collections, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience performing portfolio/account reconciliations is required.
- Bachelor’s degree or technical education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Advanced Excel skills (85%+ proficiency) are required.
- Strong knowledge of account balances, invoices, payments, credits, and reconciliation processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to identify discrepancies and investigate their root causes.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts and priorities.
