About The Role

We are looking for an experienced, proactive, and driven Bilingual Mortgage Loan Processor to take full ownership of mortgage files from submission through funding.

This is not a passive processing role. We are looking for someone who solves problems, anticipates issues, challenges incorrect conditions, follows up persistently with vendors, and takes full accountability for getting loans to the finish line.

You will manage both internal and brokered files across Conventional, FHA, VA, DSCR, Bank Statement, and Non-QM loan programs.

Key Responsibilities

Take ownership of files from submission through funding.
Review and verify income, assets, large deposits, gift funds, and earnest money deposits before underwriting.
Understand and explain income calculations.
Perform pre-submission quality control to identify missing or incorrect documents.
Confirm the correct loan program and mortgage insurance.
Submit files within company timelines and manage underwriting conditions.




Challenge incorrect conditions when supported by mortgage guidelines.
Coordinate and follow up with title companies, insurance agents, HOAs, appraisers, payoff departments, and other vendors.
Manage disclosures, Changes of Circumstance, Closing Disclosures, and Clear-to-Close requirements.
Ensure closing figures are accurate and complete post-CTC requirements through funding.
Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and verify file status directly in the system.
Communicate proactively with Loan Officers, LOAs, underwriters, vendors, and internal team members.

What We're Looking For

Experience processing U.S. mortgage loans from submission through funding.
Strong knowledge of Conventional, FHA, and VA loans.
Experience with DSCR, Bank Statement, and Non-QM loans preferred.
Experience with both internal and brokered mortgage files.
Strong experience with Encompass LOS and wholesale lender portals
