About the Role
We are looking for a Back End for Front End (BFF) Developer to build middleware services that connect backend microservices with the front-end portal.
Working closely with Frontend, Backend, UX, and other engineering teams, you will design and develop BFF services that orchestrate APIs, handle authentication, optimize data delivery, and provide a reliable interface between the portal and backend services.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop BFF middleware services that connect the front-end portal with backend microservices.
Orchestrate and aggregate data from multiple backend services to support front-end requirements.
Translate business and front-end requirements into effective BFF solutions.
Implement authentication and secure communication between services.
Develop and integrate REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
Implement caching strategies to improve application performance and responsiveness.
Troubleshoot integration and middleware issues across front-end and backend services.
Collaborate with Frontend, Backend, UX,



and other engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions.

Problem Solving: Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for identifying and resolving integration issues.
Communication: Ability to clearly communicate technical requirements, solutions, and dependencies.
Technical Skills
BFF Architecture: Understanding of Backend for Frontend patterns and middleware service design.
Backend: Node.js and/or Java with Spring Boot.
API Integration: REST, GraphQL, API orchestration, and service aggregation.
Security: Authentication and secure service-to-service communication.
Performance: Caching strategies and middleware performance optimization.
