As member of the Credit and Collections team, you will provide professional and focused services to Customers and optimize Vantage’s cash-flow. You will be responsible for all collections activities on the assigned portfolios as well as for reviewing customers' credit reports and other relevant information to assess credit risk and make necessary recommendations and decisions. Additionally, applying policies and procedures in the timely handling, processing and deposit of cash receipts will be one of your main tasks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Handle complex Customer Portfolio with high impact in the business.
Daily interaction with customers and internal stakeholders relates to collections, order release, setting of credit limits.
Remittance Recovery functions, contact customers to obtain remittances for unapplied payments on account (phone calls, emails, letters, etc.)
Manage customer relationship, which include problem resolution and root cause analysis, identifying and proposing solutions to area manager.
Assess & review the credit risk on the customer on regular basis,
calculate and suggest the required credit limits.
Decide on the release of the blocked orders and ensure timely release.
Provide insight in the development of the accounts receivable position of the customer to sales and finance teams.
Act as the first point of contact for the process related issues and escalations.
Manage the relationship with customer service and other stakeholders in the business.
Identify the improvement opportunities and support their implementation.
Lead the process and improvement focused projects for Credit and Collections
Support ongoing projects for the implementation of technology solutions.
Ensure the lowest possible write off for uncollectable balances.
Provide insight into the calculation of the required provision for uncollectable balances
Support requests from partner Finance departments.
