We are seeking a hands-on Infrastructure Engineer to support an urgent file transfer migration project in an Azure-based environment. This is a short-term engagement focused on migrating FTP/SFTP file feeds, configuring secure connectivity, troubleshooting network and access issues, and supporting the transition to a new infrastructure environment.
The adecuado candidate has practical experience with Windows Server administration, secure file transfer technologies, networking fundamentals, and Azure-based infrastructure environments.
Responsibilities
Support the migration of FTP/SFTP file feeds to a new Azure environment
Configure and troubleshoot secure file transfer connections
Set up and manage SSH keys, SFTP, and SMB connections
Configure IP whitelisting and firewall access rules
Troubleshoot connectivity and traffic flow issues between systems and counterparties
Validate inbound and outbound network traffic configurations
Work with public and local IP configurations
Configure and support file transfer tools such as WinSCP and FileZilla
Perform file synchronization and transfer automation using Robocopy
Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors/counterparties
Validate successful file transfers and migration functionality
Required Skills
Strong experience with Windows Server administration
Experience working in Azure-based infrastructure environments
Experience with FTP/SFTP migrations and secure file transfer management
Strong understanding of:
IP whitelisting
Firewall configurations
Network traffic flow
Public vs local IP addressing
Connectivity troubleshooting
Hands-on experience with:
WinSCP
FileZilla
SSH Keys
SFTP / SMB
Robocopy
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
