Lead Bookkeeper
Join our growing team and take the next step in your accounting career. We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Lead Bookkeeper to support the day-to-day accounting operations of our U.S.-based hospitality company.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced bookkeeping professional who is comfortable working with numbers, maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounting transactions, and working independently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and accounting transactions.
Record and classify daily financial transactions, including expenses, payments, deposits, and other accounting entries.
Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations.
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Review invoices, payments, and supporting documentation for accuracy.
Monitor outstanding balances and assist with follow-up on receivables and payables.




Assist with monthly bookkeeping and month-end closing activities.
Prepare and organize supporting documentation for financial reports and reconciliations.
Identify discrepancies, investigate variances, and communicate issues promptly.
Maintain organized accounting files and supporting documentation.
Work closely with the Lead Accountant and other team members to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
Assist with accounting reports, schedules, and other financial information as requested.
Support improvements to bookkeeping procedures and accounting processes.
Handle confidential financial information with a high level of discretion and professionalism.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting (Contaduría Pública), Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
2–4 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
