Operations Manager

About the Role

The Operations Manager / Production Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the operation, including industrial maintenance, warehouse, and production control areas. This position is 100% onsite at our Health & Medical plant in Yumbo, Valle de Cauca, reporting directly to the Site Manager.:
What You Will Do
- Act as a role model for Safety and Essity values, behaviors, and beliefs.:
- Drive strategic initiatives and implement management systems and operational standards.:
- Lead the Autonomous Maintenance pillar, strengthening organizational capability.:
- Own operational results (SQCDM) and ensure performance targets are met.:
- Develop and coach teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.:

Manage the annual operational budget and ensure cost control.:
- Ensure strong communication routines through daily, weekly, and monthly performance meetings.:
- Lead performance management processes and support growth of critical operational areas.:

You are a results-driven leader with a passion for operational excellence and people development. You bring strong analytical thinking, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to inspire teams in complex environments.:
Key requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.:
- Proven experience in industrial operations or production leadership roles.:
- Knowledge of TPM, maintenance systems, and industrial processes.:
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.:
- Experience managing budgets and driving cost efficiency.:
- Advanced English proficiency (required):
