Your responsibilities and tasks:
- Know manufacturing processes in the LFF industry as a pre-engineering:
- Process dimensioning.
- Production time schedules (if needed).
- Cleaning In Place Specs (flow rate, pressure, temperature, concentration and distributions).
- Layout (Matching process requirements: Process flow, drains, operation and safety requirements )
- Calculation of product losses.




- Preparation of flowcharts, block diagrams, P&ID;'s for basic and detailed engineering using 2D design tools available in GEA.
- Perform the Mass and energy balances in the process sold (if needed).
- Dimensioning of thermal and mechanical equipment (pumps, pipes, steam, valves, heat exchangers, instrumentation ) for the non-sanitary and sanitary installations in LFF industry.
- Preparation of equipment and components list, where it includes technical specifications for other specialties (electrical, automation and mechanical design).
- Coordination with different areas (sales, procurement, external GEA offices and technological centers of competence, logistics, electrical and automation engineering, project management) for the manufacturing and installation plans of LFF projects.
- Review of Technical specifications and scope for procurement negotiation. Then, elaboration of Purchase Requisition (SAP platform).
