Ad-hoc development role focused on building custom integrations into Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) / Business Central — the SMB/mid-market ERP product line. This is not a Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O;) role. We're looking for deep, hands-on development expertise on this platform, plus enough accounting fluency to work confidently with financial data.
What You'll Do
- Build custom integrations pulling data from our internal time & labor system into NAV/Business Central's finance modules
- Develop custom objects (tables, pages, codeunits, reports, XMLports) in C/AL and/or AL
- Map external data into NAV/Business Central's financial structures without breaking existing logic
- Work ad-hoc and iteratively with the accounting team, and document what you build
Must-Have Skills
- 4+ years hands-on development experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) / Business Central
- Strong C/AL (and/or AL) skills
- Experience building custom integrations/APIs/data imports into NAV/Business Central
- Solid SQL Server knowledge
- Comfort with core accounting concepts (chart of accounts, journal entries, GL, cost centers)
- Able to work independently on loosely defined, ad-hoc requirements
- Conversational English
