Position Overview

The Payroll Analyst is responsible for the accurate, compliant, and timely end-to-end payroll process for Colombia. Operating at a professional/supervisory level, this role partners with HR, Finance, Accounting, and external payroll vendors to execute payroll, maintain statutory compliance, and drive process improvements. The analyst ensures adherence to Colombian labor, tax, and social security regulations, manages audits and reconciliations, and supports system implementations and controls. The idóneo candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and fluent in English and Spanish; experience supporting additional LATAM countries is a plus.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute end-to-end Colombian payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with local regulations and company policies.
- Perform pre- and post-payroll validations, audits, and reconciliations; resolve variances and document results.
- Prepare, review, and reconcile payroll reports; support Finance and Accounting with month-end close and account reconciliations.




- Administer statutory obligations, including social security, tax withholding, severance, vacation, and other mandatory payroll elements.
- Manage payroll compliance activities such as Electronic Payroll (DIAN), Magnetic Media (Información Exógena), tax certificates, AFC/voluntary contributions, and statutory filings.
- Review and reconcile social security contributions via authorized operators (e.g., Mi Planilla or similar platforms).
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external payroll providers to resolve issues, monitor SLAs, and ensure service quality.
- Support payroll system implementations, enhancements, testing, and continuous process optimization.
- Develop and maintain payroll documentation, internal controls, and standard operating procedures.
- Provide responsive, confidential employee support on payroll inquiries, with a strong customer service orientation.
