Compass Tech is looking for a Commercial Partnerships Manager to grow our international merchant and partner network.
We are looking for a commercially strong, independent professional who understands the payments ecosystem, can build relationships with decision-makers, identify new opportunities, negotiate effectively, and take a partnership from the first conversation through to launch and revenue.
What you’ll do
- Develop new business and acquire merchants and strategic partners across international markets.
- Own the full commercial cycle — from prospecting and qualification to negotiation, onboarding, and launch.
- Build and maintain long‑term relationships with key decision‑makers.
- Understand merchant needs and match them with relevant payment solutions, methods, and geographies.
- Work closely with product, integration, operations, and account management teams to successfully launch new partners.
- Build and manage a strong commercial pipeline, while continuously identifying new markets and opportunities.
- Represent Compass Tech at industry conferences, events,



and partner meetings.

What we’re looking for
- 3+ years of relevant commercial experience in business development, partnerships, sales, or merchant acquisition.
- Proven experience in at least one of the following industries: payments / PSPs, iGaming, or Forex.
- For candidates from iGaming, 2+ years in Affiliate Management or another merchant‑facing commercial role is relevant.
- Strong understanding of online payments and the commercial side of payment processing, including payment methods, acquiring, conversion, settlements, and merchant flows.
- Proven ability to build relationships, negotiate, and close B2B deals.
- Experience working directly with merchants, brokers, operators, PSPs, or other senior industry stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize opportunities, and take ownership of commercial results.
- Fluent English is required. Spanish is a strong advantage.
