Position: STEM - Physics Expert (Task Based)
Type: Short-Term Contract (3 Months)
Compensation: $250 per approved task
Location: Remote
Commitment: Up to 40 hours per week with 4 hours overlap with PST
Role Responsibilities
- Design and solve challenging Physics problems to evaluate and improve large language models (LLMs)
- Create clear, high-quality, step-by-step solutions with well-articulated reasoning
- Collaborate with AI researchers to develop evaluation tasks focused on areas where models typically struggle
- Help define new Physics evaluation benchmarks spanning undergraduate to PhD-level topics
- Analyze and solve complex Physics problems using structured and logical approaches
- Explain Physics concepts clearly using simple language, visuals, and Physics reasoning
- Provide detailed annotations, feedback, and reasoning for AI evaluation workflows
Requirements
- Master's, PhD, or Postdoctoral degree in Physics, Applied Physics, or a related field
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Experience explaining complex Physics concepts clearly and effectively
- Ability to provide constructive feedback and detailed annotations
- Creative and lateral thinking abilities
- Excellent written communication and collaboration skills
- Self‑motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Access to a desktop/laptop with a reliable internet connection
- LinkedIn profile is mandatory in the resume
Additional Information
- Average task completion time: 6–8 hours
- Candidates will undergo background verification after onboarding
- Work allocation will begin only after verification is completed
