The Senior Plant Designer owns the physical design of Voyager’s new chemical manufacturing facilities across the lifecycle of planning, construction, commissioning, and sustaining. This is not a role where you hand off a drawing package and move on but rather one where you will develop designs alongside the chemical engineers defining the process, technicians building the process, and operators running the process. With multiple facilities for oxidizers, energetic materials, and energetic precursors planned in Colorado and Louisiana in the coming years, this is a long-term design ownership position rather than a single project assignment.

The position reports to the Chief Engineer and is part of the Chemicals and Explosives Team. This role is based in Penrose, CO with a shift to Pueblo, CO expected within the next year. The two sites are about 40 miles apart and within the same Colorado
