We are looking for a Design Director with a strong background in visual design, brand, and digital product experiences to support a growing fintech organization. This role sits at the intersection of brand, visual identity, and in-product experiences. The idóneo candidate brings a strong visual point of view while understanding how to translate brand principles into polished, intuitive digital products. Visual polish is extremely important, with a highly developed eye for design, typography, composition, hierarchy, consistency, and overall user experience.

Time Zone:

Must maintain 3-5+ hours of overlap with Pacific Time (PT)

Key Responsibilities
- Lead visual direction and design quality across brand and digital product experiences.
- Translate brand identity and visual systems into compelling in-product experiences.
- Establish and maintain high standards of visual quality, consistency, and polish.
- Partner with product, UX, engineering, and business stakeholders from concept through execution.
- Develop and evolve visual design systems, patterns,



and guidelines across digital experiences.
- Provide creative direction and thoughtful design feedback to designers and cross-functional teams.
- Balance brand expression with usability, accessibility, and product requirements.
- Review designs and prototypes for consistency with the overall visual and brand direction.
- Help shape the visual language of products as they evolve and scale.
- Clearly communicate design rationale to creative and non-creative stakeholders.

Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in visual design, brand design, product design, or a related field.
- Experience in a Design Director, Creative Director, Art Director, or senior visual design leadership capacity.
- Strong visual and brand design portfolio demonstrating high-quality digital experiences.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong eye for visual polish.
- Strong understanding of typography, color, composition, layout,
