This position has the responsibility of supporting file-based workflows within the Paramount Media Technology division. Daily work obligations include responding to support requests, collaborating with engineering on resolution, validating solutions, and updating documentation. There is an expectation that team members are very self-sufficient when engaged in assignments, representing the company by themselves or asking engineers for input, and always ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality work and outstanding client care. Strong experience in a multidisciplinary team is critical, as is the ability to clearly communicate complex technology solutions.

Responsibilities
- Interface with the internal support team or users on issues raised to Media Technology
- Collaborate with internal or external teams to identify and address potential issues with transcoding autoQC or content delivery.
- Maintain knowledge of cloud compute software and network within the environment.
- Maintain internal documentation regarding system information and escalation paths; create runbooks for issues that have had an RCA.
- Engage directly with all necessary Paramount teams to address issues with software, cloud computing, storage, and networking that affect Media Technology systems.
- Work to maintain media encoding and transcoding platforms to ensure quality performance and reliability.
