Position Overview:
As a Legal Specialist, you will support live private equity, M&A;, and financing transactions, focusing primarily on NDA and ancillary transaction documentation.
You will work within client-approved playbooks and structured legal frameworks, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and alignment with sponsor-side positions. Your work forms part of broader transactions, contributing to efficient deal execution in high-volume environments.
Working hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM U.S. Eastern Time (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Colombia time)
Key Responsibilities
- Review, analyse, and negotiate NDAs, confidentiality agreements, and ancillary transaction documents.- Identify and manage deviations from standard positions, implementing appropriate fallback language.
- Manage high-volume document workflows, meeting defined turnaround times and service levels.
- Support multiple concurrent transactions in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
- Collaborate with a general legal team to ensure consistency and quality across deliverables.
- Contribute to ongoing process improvements and delivery efficiencies.
- Provide feedback to product teams to enhance AI tools and workflows.
Required Experience:
- LLB (or equivalent legal qualification)
- 1-3 years’ experience in transactional legal work/ contract review or or similar high-volume legal environments.
- Demonstrated experience reviewing NDAs and/or similar commercial agreements.
