Purpose
The Lead Instrumentation Engineerprovides technical leadership and project delivery oversight for instrumentation and control (I&C;) engineering services in support of Worley and its customers. This role is accountable for leading small to medium-sized I&C; teams, coordinating discipline activities, and ensuring high-quality, safe, and compliant engineering deliverables are executed on time and within budget.
The Lead Instrumentation Engineeracts as a key interface between the project team, discipline leadership, and the client,
supporting successful project execution across the full project lifecycle, from concept and detailed engineering through construction and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Technical Leadership
- Lead instrumentation and controls engineering execution on assigned projects, ensuring alignment with project scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
- Provide day-to-day technical direction to a team of Instrumentation Engineers and Designers, including task assignment, technical oversight, and progress monitoring.
- Serve as the primary I&C; discipline interface with Project Management, other engineering disciplines, and client stakeholders.
- Support project planning activities, including development of execution strategies, resourcing plans, and workshare models where appropriate.
