Description:
The Junior Processor will assist Loan Officers in preparing loan files, collecting documentation, and ensuring files move efficiently through the mortgage pipeline.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing mortgage loan files for processing and underwriting
- Review borrower documentation for completeness and accuracy
- Request and follow up on required documents from borrowers or loan teams
- Organize loan files and maintain accurate records in the Loan Origination System (LOS)
- Upload and label documents correctly within the system
- Review credit reports, income documents, and asset documentation
- Assist with verifying employment, income, and assets
- Monitor loan milestones and ensure documentation deadlines are met
- Communicate with Loan Officers, Loan Officer Assistants, and Processors regarding missing items
- Maintain compliance with lender guidelines and documentation standards

Requirements:
Qualifications:
2+ years experience in mortgage processing, ideally within the retail and wholesale channels





Proven ability to manage files independently from submission to clear-to-close

Familiarity with FHA, DSCR, ITIN, Bank Statement, and Non-QM loan programs

Fully bilingual in English / Portuguese and Spanish (spoken and written)

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Detail-oriented, dependable, and proactive

Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new systems quickly

Access to a personal computer and stable internet connection
