Business Hours About the Role At Pavago , one of our clients is hiring an Accounting Manager to oversee financial reporting, month-end close, payroll, and core accounting operations across complex client accounts. This is a hands-on accounting role , not a basic bookkeeping or data-entry position.

We’re looking for someone with strong accrual accounting and GAAP expertise who can confidently manage multi-entity, multi-location, and multi-segment accounting environments. You’ll take ownership of: - Month-end close - GAAP financial reporting - Payroll processing - Accounts payable and receivable - General ledger accuracy - U. S. sales tax compliance - Budgeting and forecasting support - Accounting process improvement If you’re highly detail-oriented, technically strong in accounting, and comfortable owning complex financial workflows, this role is a strong fit.



What You’ll Own Month-End Close & Financial Reporting - Execute accurate and timely month-end close processes - Prepare financial statements and reports aligned with client requirements - Maintain clean, organized, and audit-ready workpapers - Ensure reporting complies with applicable accounting standards - Review financial data for discrepancies and resolve issues proactively - Maintain consistent reporting timelines across multiple accounts and entities Payroll & Employee Setup - Process payroll accurately using Gusto or similar payroll platforms - Set up and maintain employees within payroll systems - Ensure payroll information and documentation remain accurate - Support payroll-related compliance requirements - Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies before processing deadlines Core Accounting Operations - Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable - Maintain accurate general ledger records - Manage accounting activity across multiple entities, locations, or business segments - Prepare and review journal entries and reconciliations - Ensure financial transactions are properly classified and recorded - Maintain organized and accurate accounting systems Sales Tax & Compliance - Calculate and file U. S.
