provide solutions for our customers that help them achieve critical
business outcomes, while enabling our GAPSters and our communities
to attain long-term success. Summary We are looking for a Senior

Data Engineer to join our team as an embedded resource dedicated to

a major enterprise cloud data migration initiative. In this role, you will focus on migrating, refactoring, and optimizing a library
of over 200 stored procedures from Azure SQL to Google Big Query.
Working as a fully integrated member of our internal tech team, you
will handle one-to-one procedural logic migrations while leveraging

cutting-edge cloud tools. This is a high-impact role within a

fast-paced, healthcare-adjacent environment where data integrity, performance optimization, and rigorous validation are paramount to
project success. Education Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a
related technical field. Professional Experience 5+ years of
experience in data engineering,

cloud data warehousing, or database
development roles. Proven track record of executing relational
database management system (RDBMS) migrations to modern cloud data
warehouses, specifically moving transactional workloads to
analytical columnar systems. Strong experience working within an
Agile/Scrum development lifecycle with tools like Jira or
Confluence. Prior experience working in an embedded-resource
delivery model, collaborating seamlessly inside cross-functional
environments. Key Responsibilities Execute clean, one-to-one
migrations of complex T-SQL stored procedures, functions, and views
into Google Big Query standard SQL. Translate control-of-flow, loop
structures, and conditional logic from T-SQL into highly optimized
Big Query procedural scripts or set-based cloud operations. Redesign
query logic to align with Big Query’s columnar, distributed
architecture, utilizing efficient partitioning and clustering
schemas while avoiding architectural anti-patterns. Develop and
execute precise testing scripts to ensure absolute data parity and

computation consistency between the source Azure SQL databases and

the destination environment. Collaborate natively with client tech, product, and QA teams, leveraging dedicated client domain accounts
and participating in weekly sprints. Document code mapping schemas, migration rules, and performance tuning solutions to facilitate
ongoing platform optimization. Required Technical Skills Strong

experience in the following areas: Google Big Query Expert: Advanced

mastery of GoogleSQL, optimizing update statements over joins,

nested/repeated fields, and configuring clustered or partitioned

tables. T-SQL Mastery: Deep understanding of Azure SQL

environments, legacy stored procedures, performance tuning, complex

joins, and analytical functions. Modern Logic Translation: Demonstrated capability to interpret legacy database logic and

convert it to modern cloud-native analytical operations. Data

Validation: Experience in data quality frameworks, query

benchmarking, and running dual-environment consistency audits. Nice
to Have Familiarity with utilizing AI-assisted developer platforms
(such as Google Gemini) to accelerate SQL code translations and
resolve runtime recommendations. Experience evaluating or working
with enterprise reporting tools and data visualization platforms
(e.g., Power BI, Looker, SSRS). Prior experience operating in
secure compliance environments such as HIPAA or SOC 2, and
utilizing de-identified test data spaces. Experience with Big Query
Migration Service (BQMS) or automated batch translation tools. Soft
Skills Advanced English proficiency with excellent verbal and
written communication skills for daily cross-functional
synchronization. Strong analytical, problem-solving mindset with a
core focus on optimization and accuracy. High level of autonomy, capability to take technical ownership of tasks, and clear project
progression reporting. At Growth Acceleration Partners, we're an
equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse and
inclusive team. We value everyone's unique background, and we
provide equal opportunities regardless of race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national
origin, disability, marital status, veteran status or any other
personal right protected by law. We foster a culture of belonging
and strive to provide a welcoming environment where everyone feels
