The successful candidate will have extensive hands‑on experience in deep underground gold mines, complex dewatering environments, and the stabilization and modernization of aging workings.Key ResponsibilitiesLead rehabilitation and safeoperation of underground workings (> 100m depth) while maintainingproduction continuity.Oversee ground control, rockstabilization, ventilation, power, and safety system upgrades.Manage dewatering systems andmitigate geotechnical, flooding, and operational risks.Enforce strict undergroundsafety standards and emergency preparedness.Translate mine strategy intosafe production plans that preserve life-of-mine value.Control operating andsustaining capital costs,
