About the Opportunity
GEMNI will be exhibiting at the Bogotá Industrial International Fair (FIB) in Bogotá, Colombia, where we will be showcasing our products and connecting with potential customers, distributors, and business partners.
We are looking for a Spanish–English Interpreter & Booth Assistant to support our team at the exhibition booth throughout the event.
This is a great opportunity for a bilingual professional or someone with strong communication skills who enjoys interacting with people in an international business environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide English–Spanish interpretation during conversations with visitors and potential customers.
- Assist with interpretation during business meetings and discussions at the booth.
- Welcome and engage with visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Facilitate communication between the GEMNI team and Spanish-speaking visitors.
- Assist in explaining basic company and product information to visitors.
- Support the team with general booth and exhibition activities.
- Help ensure smooth communication and day-to-day booth operations throughout the event.
- Maintain a professional and approachable presence while representing GEMNI at the exhibition.
Requirements
- Fluent in spoken English and Spanish.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable interpreting conversations between English and Spanish.
- Confident interacting with international visitors and business professionals.
- Professional, presentable, friendly, and proactive.
- Available in Bogotá for the full duration: 28 September – 2 October 2026 .
- Previous experience in interpretation, exhibitions, trade shows, hospitality, customer service, or sales support is an advantage but not mandatory .
