Focus: U.S. Real Estate Transactions, Closings & Legal Administration

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized Real Estate Transaction & Closing Specialist based in Medellín to support our U.S. real estate, development and business operations.

This position is ideal for someone with experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, real estate closing coordinator, title assistant or transaction coordinator who is comfortable working with detailed legal and real estate documentation.

The position will work closely with our U.S. management team, attorneys, title companies, lenders, brokers, engineers and other professionals to help move real estate transactions from initial agreement through closing.

Excellent spoken and written English is required.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with U.S. real estate purchases, sales, leases, options and other property transactions.
- Coordinate transaction documentation and closing requirements.
- Communicate with attorneys, title companies, escrow agents, brokers, lenders and other parties.
- Prepare and complete routine forms, checklists and transaction paperwork under appropriate supervision.
- Track signatures, approvals, deposits, deadlines and closing conditions.
- Maintain detailed closing checklists for every transaction.
- Review documents for completeness, consistency and missing information.
- Organize purchase agreements, option agreements, leases, amendments, title commitments, surveys, deeds, easements and closing documents.




- Assist with title and survey review by organizing issues and tracking required resolutions for attorney or management review.
- Coordinate electronic signatures and document circulation.
- Maintain corporate and real estate records for multiple U.S. entities.
- Assist with entity documentation, resolutions, certificates and other routine corporate paperwork.
- Maintain organized electronic files and document-control systems.
- Prepare closing binders and permanent transaction records.
- Track important dates, including inspection periods, option deadlines, financing deadlines and closing dates.
- Follow up aggressively but professionally on outstanding documents and information.
- Assist management with additional legal and administrative projects.

Qualifications
- Fluent or near-fluent English required — written and spoken.
- Experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, closing coordinator, title assistant, transaction coordinator or similar position strongly preferred.
- Real estate transaction experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong document-management and organizational skills.
- Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PDF/document-editing skills.




- Comfortable working with electronic signature and cloud document systems.
- Ability to understand detailed contracts and legal documents.
- Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines simultaneously.
- Comfortable communicating directly with U.S. attorneys and other professionals.
- Strong follow-through and ability to work independently.

Preferred Background Candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas are especially encouraged to apply:

Adecuado Candidate We are looking for someone who is extremely organized, dependable and detail-oriented .

This person should be the type who notices that a signature is missing, a legal entity name does not match, an exhibit was left off an agreement, a deadline is approaching, or a closing document has not been received—and takes action before it becomes a problem.

The successful candidate will become a key administrative member of our U.S. operations and will work across multiple real estate developments and business entities.

This position does not require the individual to provide U.S. legal advice. Legal decisions and legal opinions will remain with our U.S. attorneys. The position is focused on transaction coordination, document preparation, closing support, organization and execution.
