We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to support daily transportation operations, coordinate with drivers, and ensure shipments are properly scheduled, documented, and monitored.

The adecuado candidate will have at least 6 months of experience in Logistics, Transportation, Dispatch, or a related field, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This role requires close coordination with drivers, planning teams, warehouses, vendors, and internal departments to ensure smooth shipment execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain consistent communication with drivers regarding assigned jobs, schedules, requirements, approvals, and special instructions.
- Review job and shipment details to ensure accuracy and completeness before dispatch.
- Provide drivers with all required documentation and job information prior to shipment start.
- Monitor internal calendars and operational boards for new shipments, updates, and schedule changes.
- Assist drivers with operational issues, including service approvals, weight overages, shuttles, parking, equipment, and third-party services.
- Coordinate with Planning, Coordination, Warehouse, Safety, and other internal departments as needed.
- Assist with confirming pickup, packing, loading, and delivery dates.
- Review assigned shipments with drivers and follow up on their progress.
- Schedule shipments into and out of storage in coordination with warehouse teams.
- Reserve rental equipment and transportation resources when required.
- Order packing materials and coordinate with vendors as needed.




- Verify that required labor and documentation are properly arranged and recorded.
- Submit approved funding or expense requests for drivers, labor, lodging, fuel, and other operational needs.
- Maintain communication with General Managers, warehouse staff, and other internal teams regarding shipment status and requirements.
- Update internal systems with driver-provided information, photos, weights, documentation, and shipment records.
- Enter detailed notes regarding shipment status, progress, exceptions, and additional requirements.
- Monitor GPS and tracking systems to verify driver locations and support transportation visibility.
- Assist with driver coverage and scheduling when needed.
- Manage and communicate driver time-off requests.
- Support the team with urgent operational issues and special projects as assigned by management.

Requirements

- Minimum 6 months of experience in Logistics, Transportation, Dispatch, or a related field.
- Experience coordinating with drivers, carriers, warehouses, or transportation teams is preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
- Comfortable working with databases, internal systems, calendars, and tracking platforms.
- Ability to work independently while following established procedures.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and team-oriented.
- English communication skills: B2–C1 preferred.
