About the Role
We are looking for a Bilingual Clinical Nutritionist to support patients participating in our medical weight management programs. You will work directly with patients to provide personalized nutrition education, promote sustainable eating habits, and help patients navigate their weight-loss journey while taking into account their cultural background, food preferences, and individual needs.
This role is particularly suited for a nutrition professional with experience in clinical nutrition, weight management, behavior change, and patient education.
What We're Looking For
- Education: Professional degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from an accredited university.
- English: B2+ (Upper-Intermediate) or above. You must be comfortable communicating with our US-based team and working with English-language EMR and software platforms.
- Spanish: Spanish proficiency. Patient-facing consultations and messaging will be conducted primarily in Spanish.
- Clinical Experience: Previous experience working directly with patients in clinical nutrition, weight management, metabolic health, or related programs.
- Patient Education: Strong ability to translate nutritional concepts into practical, easy-to-understand recommendations.
- Technology & Workspace:
Reliable internet connection and a private, professional workspace suitable for virtual consultations.
- Availability: Ability to conduct virtual consultations according to the agreed-upon schedule.
What You Will Do
- Conduct virtual nutrition onboarding and follow-up consultations with patients enrolled in our weight management programs.
- Assess patients' nutritional habits, lifestyle factors, food preferences, and individual barriers to healthy eating.
- Provide personalized nutrition education and practical recommendations tailored to each patient's needs and cultural preferences.
- Support patients in maintaining adequate protein intake, hydration, and overall nutritional quality during their weight-loss journey.
- Help patients develop sustainable eating habits and realistic behavioral goals.
- Respond to nutrition-related questions through our asynchronous messaging platform.
- Document consultations and patient interactions accurately in our EMR/platform.
- Collaborate with our US-based Nurse Practitioners and other members of the clinical team.
- Escalate reported adverse effects or clinical concerns to the appropriate member of the clinical team in accordance with established protocols.
