Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bogotá, D.C. for a Junior Attorney specializing in Criminal Law (Abogado Junior - Derecho Penal). The role involves supporting senior attorneys in criminal cases through legal research, review and drafting of procedural documents, and preparation of briefs and case files. The junior attorney will assist in client interviews, gather and organize evidence, help prepare case strategies, and attend hearings and meetings under supervision.

Daily work also includes monitoring case deadlines, preparing reports for internal use,



and ensuring that all documentation complies with applicable legal and ethical standards. Collaboration with other practice areas may be required to provide integrated legal advice to clients.

Qualifications

- Solid foundation in Law, with demonstrated interest or academic focus in Criminal Law and related practice.
- Ability to provide Legal Advice under supervision, including analysis of case files and preparation of legal opinions.
- Strong Research skills for case law, statutes, doctrine, and evidentiary support.
- Negotiation capabilities for assisting in settlements, agreements, and client discussions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law and eligibility to practice in Colombia (tarjeta competente vigente).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish; basic to intermediate English is an advantage.
- High ethical standards, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
- Proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and capacity to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
