Senior Remote Accountant & Multi-City Controller (Part-Time)
Location: Remote
Hours: 20 hours / week
Compensation: $1,300 USD / month (fixed contractor rate paid in USD)

We are a growing American lifestyle membership club operating across multiple major US cities with a branded consumer mobile app. We manage high-volume vendor, venue, and operating expenses across several distinct geographic markets.
The Role
We are seeking an autonomous, meticulous Senior Accountant to maintain clean financial books and establish strict multi-city cost tracking. You will report directly to executive leadership and must be able to conduct live, financial reviews over Zoom.
Key Responsibilities
Multi-City Cost Accounting: Allocate and track all operating costs, vendor bills, and payroll across seven distinct city hubs to report individual market P&Ls.;
Weekly Reconciliation: Reconcile multi-bank and credit card feeds, software subscriptions, and merchant gateways.
Expense Auditing: Review employee spend and receipts to ensure budget compliance and eliminate waste.
Month-End Close: Maintain a clean general ledger and provide monthly cash flow summaries and variance reports.
Requirements
5+ years of professional accounting or auditing experience. Experience tracking and categorizing operational costs across multiple business locations.(e.g., cities, regional hubs, factories, or franchises) tracking separate P&Ls.;
Proficiency in modern accounting platforms (QuickBooks Online, Xero, or equivalent) and advanced spreadsheet modeling (i,e Pivot tables, xlookup,clean data hygiene).
Spoken English (C1): Must be able to speak fluidly and unscripted in native-speed business discussions with American leadership without translation delays.
