Responsibilities:

You will work remotely from Colombia in close coordination with our Malta-based Audit Managers, who will be the primary points of contact for the audit engagements assigned to you.





Your responsibilities will include

- Coordinate audit engagements from the planning stage through to completion, ensuring assignments are delivered within agreed deadlines and in accordance with the firm's quality standards.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, acting as a key point of contact throughout the audit process.
- Liaise proactively with client management to obtain information, resolve audit queries, and identify opportunities for process and business improvements.
- Coordinate work effectively with junior team members, review their work, and provide on-the-job coaching, guidance and constructive feedback to support their professional development.
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
- Apply International Standards on Auditing (ISA) throughout audit engagements.
- Identify and communicate audit findings and matters requiring further consideration.
- Work closely with our Malta-based Managers to ensure the successful and timely delivery of audit engagements.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, confidentiality and quality throughout all assignments.

Requirements:

- Qualified with ACCA, ACA or CPA, holds a recognised university Master's degree in Accounting, or is in the final stages of completing ACCA.
- A minimum of two years' experience within an audit firm.
- Currently based in Bogotá, Colombia.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Sound knowledge of IFRS and International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
- Ability to identify, assess and communicate audit findings and other sensitive matters professionally.
- Proven ability to manage multiple audit engagements and work effectively within a collaborative, international team environment.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines and deliver high-quality work remotely.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to build and maintain professional client relationships.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a Malta-based team in a remote working environment.
