Medellín

Location: Located or willing to relocate to Medellin, Colombia

Setting: On-site at both company locations in Medellin, with in-person presence at each; travel between locations as operationally required

Working Hours: Business hours with flexibility to support 24/7 studio operations and a global environment

Role Summary

This role leads high-volume hiring in Colombia across the locations: building and running the mass-recruitment engine that keeps the 24/7 studios staffed with quality dealers and owning the commercial relationship with the temporary staffing companies that supply them. It also provides full HR leadership, covering Colombian labor-law compliance, workforce data and budgets, onboarding and retention, team leadership, employer branding, and culture.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Recruiting

- Lead and own high-volume mass hiring (500+ positions) end to end: hands-on and in the interviews and intake during ramp-up and peak volume, then moving to monitoring and quality control, so hiring stays fast, on-profile, and compliant from sourcing to onboarding.
- Know the dealer profile and selection deeply, so hiring decisions come from real operational understanding and first-hand judgment of candidate quality.
- Lead the commercial and operational relationship with the Temporary Staffing Companies (EST): negotiate rates and AIU, monitor compliance, and manage the relationship day to day.
- Direct a candidate-attraction engine that keeps the high-volume pipeline full: local campaigns, job-board and social presence, referral programs, and community and university partnerships.
- Own the candidate experience end to end, so a fast, high-volume process still feels personal and protects the employer brand.

Workforce Management
- Develop strategic and tactical retention plans to reduce turnover and increase length of stay.
- Own onboarding and early-tenure integration for new hires: track how new dealers adapt in their first weeks, measure early attrition, and use it to judge whether recruitment and selection are working.

- Guide manpower planning and scheduling efficiency for round-the-clock coverage, flag overtime and legal risks, and step in when a workforce issue becomes a people or legal matter.

HR Operations
- Define and implement the HR strategy across both company locations, build, document, and maintain the department's processes, procedures, and policies, keeping all HR functions aligned to them.
- Ensure all departmental processes comply with current labor law, and update policies and procedures as regulations change.
- Own the legal and employee-relations side of HR: lead disciplinary processes, offboarding, and the company's HR protocols in line with Colombian labor law.
- Accountable for the occupational health and safety system (SG-SST): keep mandatory training, protocols, and documentation current and audit-ready.

Team Leadership

- Direct, develop, and support the HR team in person at both company locations, with a continuous on-site presence.
- Serve as the strategic point of contact between department heads, operations, and management on HR matters.
- Act as a credible advisor to senior leaders on all people-related matters.

Data, Budget & Forecasting
- Design, track, and report HR indicators (turnover, absenteeism, time-to-hire, and recruitment effectiveness), with analysis and action plans for management.
- Manage the HR budget: tracking spending, flagging overruns early, and explaining variances.
- Build training cost and time into hiring and budget plans and drive efficiencies; training design stays with Operations and Training.
- Forecast hiring needs and costs: turn turnover and operational demand into recruitment, training, and headcount plans.
- Own the total-rewards strategy and budget: shape competitive pay,

shift premiums and benefits, and source providers.

Employer Branding & Culture
- Position the company as an employer of choice in the local markets, together with the integral and local Employer Branding teams.
- Lead initiatives that build a high-performance, high-engagement culture, strengthening belonging and reflecting the company's values.
- Develop and oversee employee engagement, recognition, and well-being programs that improve the employee experience and support retention.
- Monitor engagement and employer-brand metrics (engagement surveys, attrition, offer acceptance) and turn them into action plans.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have

- Professional education in Human Resources or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of professional HR experience (senior, leadership, or HRBP), ideally in hospitality or a land-based casino, or another large, shift-based front-line workforce.
- At least 3 years leading high-volume / mass-hiring recruitment (500+ positions managed simultaneously or consecutively) for shift-based, front-line work.
- Solid working knowledge of Colombian employment law, especially shift-work rules (night, Sunday, and holiday recargos, overtime, and prestaciones sociales), plus offboarding, disciplinary processes, and occupational health and safety (SG-SST).
- Ability to design and control HR KPIs (turnover, absenteeism, time-to-hire, recruitment effectiveness), departmental processes and policies, and the HR budget, using workforce data to guide hiring and retention.
- Team leadership experience, with confident stakeholder management up to senior leaders.
- Advanced English (C1 or above) and fluent Spanish.

Advantages
- Direct experience with Temporary Staffing Companies (EST): rate negotiation, AIU, compliance monitoring, and managing commercial and operational relationships.
- Experience leading HR across multiple locations or sites.
- Specialization in HR Management, Organizational Development, or HR Leadership.
- Prior experience with online/virtual casinos.
