Job Title: Engineer - Software Level 4

Location: Colombia – Remote

Duration: 6 months

Job Description:

Core Responsibilities
- Develop software systems supporting Supply Chain services and warehouse management systems.
- Participate in design, architecture and implementation of software systems solving complex problems. Includes defining, scoping and estimating stories and work artifacts.
- Ensure delivery of high quality, scalable, maintainable and well tested code.
- Ensure high quality document design standards are maintained.
- Provide on-call support for systems and services supported by the team.

Skills:
- 5+ years professional hands-on experience delivering quality software
- Excellent proficiency in Java and Spring boot framework
- Experience with messaging technologies and streaming platforms (Kafka)
- Experience with RESTful architecture and micro services
- Proficiency with Cloud technologies (AWS, Kubernetes, Google Cloud)




- Must know modern infrastructure tools and pipelines (GitLab, GitHub, CI/CD, Terraform)
- Test automation experience at all levels (Unit, Integration, Regression and Performance/Load)
- Familiar with logging and metrics tools (New Relic, Splunk)
- Experience supporting 24x7 on call tech support and maintain on call run books/ documentation

Desired (Nice to have) skill set:
- Familiarity with relation databases is a plus
- Prior Supply Chain experience is a plus
- Understanding of modern warehouse management systems is a bonus

Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, Engineering or equivalent practical experience
