⚠️ ?????????: This role is 100% ocean/maritime freight (FCL). We are looking exclusively for candidates with hands-on experience in international sea shipping. Candidates whose background is limited to domestic transportation, trucking, or land freight will not be considered.

A Miami based leader in the plastics and recycled raw materials industry is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Medellín and manage the end-to-end movement of ocean freight cargo across general trade routes.

In this role, you'll coordinate FCL ocean shipments with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and logistics partners around the world, planning and tracking cargo through seaports while closely monitoring ETAs and ETDs to get ahead of any delays; you'll also make sure all shipping documents and customs requirements meet international regulations, review tenders, contracts, and shipping agreements,



and manage import and export processes from start to finish for international orders.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Foreign Trade, Engineering, or related field. A postgraduate diploma in logistics is a plus.
English C1 — excellent written and spoken communication
2-3 years of experience in international ocean/maritime shipping, import & export.
Proven, hands-on expertise in FCL sea transportation across multiple global trade routes.
Solid knowledge of Incoterms, customs regulations, import/export law, and maritime logistics cost structures.
Strong grasp of global geography, countries, major cities, and key seaports.
Proactive, analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with minimal supervision.
