Cloud FinOps Analyst

We are looking for a Cloud FinOps Analyst to strengthen financial governance across its cloud environment. This role sits at the intersection of Cloud Operations, Finance, and the Business Units, helping the organization understand, forecast, govern, and continuously optimize cloud spend. The successful candidate will help establish the visibility, processes, and accountability needed to support this multi-cloud environment.

What you will do
Review and analyze AWS bills, Azure invoices, Cloudaware reports, and other cloud and technology costs.
Build dashboards that show cloud spend by provider, Business Unit, service, and workload.
Identify cost drivers and explain changes, trends, and forecast variances.
Maintain cloud spend forecasts in partnership with Finance and Cloud Operations.
Use AWS, Azure, and third-party tools to identify rightsizing, commitment, scheduling, and unused-resource savings opportunities.




Quantify recommendations and track realized savings.
Facilitate cloud cost reviews with Business Unit leaders and application owners.
Track optimization actions through completion.
Establish governance practices for tagging, budget alerts, and approval workflows.
Define and monitor FinOps KPIs, including forecast accuracy, savings realization, unit economics, and Reserved Instance or Savings Plan coverage.
Support showback and chargeback models across the organization.
Automate reporting, billing-data extraction, and tagging audits through scripting and SQL.

What you bring
3–5+ years of relevant experience in FinOps, cloud financial management, IT finance, or cloud operations with a cost focus.
Working knowledge of core AWS and Azure services and how architecture and usage decisions affect cost.
Hands-on experience with AWS Cost Explorer, Budgets, Trusted Advisor, Compute Optimizer and Cost and Usage Re
