Job Title: Asset Meta Data Steward

Job Summary

We are hiring an Asset Meta Data Steward to support IT asset governance, catalog management, and metadata accuracy within a large-scale ServiceNow environment. The role focuses on maintaining clean, standardized, and audit-ready asset data across hardware, software, vendors, models, catalogs, and SKUs.

Key Responsibilities

Normalize, cleanse, and standardize asset and catalog data

Manage ServiceNow HAM, SAM Pro, and CMDB records

Maintain SKU catalogs and vendor/model mappings

Support catalog workflows, approval flows, and governance controls

Perform asset data validation, reconciliation, and QA checks

Identify duplicates, inconsistencies, and missing metadata

Generate dashboards, audit logs, and lifecycle reports





Support lifecycle forecasting, refresh planning, and compliance initiatives

Coordinate with procurement, vendor, compliance, and platform teams

Recommend workflow and data governance improvements

Required Skills

2+ years of ServiceNow HAM, SAM Pro, and CMDB experience

Strong IT Asset Management (ITAM) knowledge

Experience with asset lifecycle management and catalog governance

Knowledge of metadata management, SKU mapping, and data quality processes

Familiarity with ITIL processes and CMDB governance

Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills

Ability to work independently in a remote environment
