The Opportunity
Are you excited about working at the intersection of hardware, software, and advanced simulation ?
In this role, you’ll be right at the heart of how next-generation vehicles are tested, validated, and brought to life. We’re looking for a Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) Engineer who enjoys building, integrating, and continuously improving complex test environments.
You’ll work hands-on with Vector tools , contribute to CI pipelines , and play a key role in accelerating innovation in electrification and autonomous driving .
What you’ll be doing
- Design,



develop, and maintain HIL rigs at component and domain levels
- Lead integration activities across multiple product areas
- Commission, configure, and validate HIL test objects
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware-related issues (wiring, harnesses, simulation elements)
- Manage ECU updates and component configurations
- Develop and enhance network simulations (gateways, signal manipulation, etc.)
- Execute manual software downloads for core ECUs

What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Physics , or a related field
- 10+ years of relevant experience in automotive or embedded environments
- Strong background in electronic systems development (hardware & software)
- Hands-on experience with HIL and automated test systems , using Vector tools
- Proficiency in Python and CAPL for scripting and automation
- Solid understanding of automotive communication
