Job Title: Payroll Specialist

Location: Hybrid (Office-based with remote work)

Overview

We are looking for adetail-oriented payroll professional who can manage payroll processing and benefits administration in a fast-paced environment. This role combinestechnical payroll expertise with strong employee support, ensuring payroll accuracy, compliance, and excellent internal service.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Administration
- Process payroll accurately and on time, includingtimesheets, overtime, bonuses, and payroll adjustments
- Prepare and managetax documents such as W-2s and 1099s
- Ensure payroll records and documentation are properly maintained

Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance withpayroll and benefits regulations
- Prepare reports and supportinternal or external audits
- Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulatory requirements

Employee Support
- Provide guidance to employees regardingpayroll and benefits policies




- Supportnew hire onboarding sessions related to payroll and benefits
- Develop educational materials to help employees better understand payroll and benefits processes

Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in payroll and benefits administration
- Experience withpayroll systems and HRIS platforms
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong understanding of payroll and benefits regulations includingFLSA, COBRA, ACA, and ERISA
- Excellentcommunication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Payroll or HR certifications such as CPP or PHR are a plus
