We're Hiring: macOS / Apple Systems Engineer.
This is a highly specialized role focused on Apple technologies, macOS security, MDM administration, and automation. You'll serve as the primary technical expert for Apple infrastructure while collaborating with teams responsible for EDR, UEM/RMM, and Microsoft Intune.
What You'll Do.
Administer and manage our Apple device management platform (Mosyle or equivalent Apple-native MDM), including:
- Device enrollment
- Configuration profiles
- Patch management
- Application deployment
- Policy enforcement

Manage Apple Business Manager, including:
- Zero-touch deployments
- Device assignments
- DEP administration
- Apple ID token management

Implement and maintain macOS security baselines, including:
- FileVault encryption
- Gatekeeper
- System Integrity Protection (SIP)
- Firewall configurations
- Notarization controls

Manage local administrator credential rotation and privilege management for Mac endpoints.
Partner with security and endpoint teams to:
- Integrate macOS devices into EDR/XDR platforms




- Improve monitoring and response capabilities
- Maintain accurate inventory and patch management processes

Collaborate with Intune administrators to align compliance policies and Conditional Access configurations.
Automate administration and remediation tasks using:
- Bash
- Zsh
- Swift
- AppleScript

Support compliance initiatives and audits, ensuring adherence to frameworks such as SOC 2.
Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, configurations, and operational runbooks.
Act as the primary escalation point for Apple/macOS infrastructure and security matters.
Required Qualifications
- 4-5 years of experience managing enterprise macOS environments.
- Hands-on administration experience with Mosyle or another Apple-native MDM platform such as:
- Jamf
- Kandji
- Addigy
- Experience with Apple Business Manager and zero-touch deployments.
